when I say higher end I mean that our Shiseido, BareMinerals, Guerlain, Lise Watier, etc are also sold at drug stores here :)

  • elusive73 says:

I got mine from NeoStrata actually :) It’s a higher end ‘drug store’ brand here in Canada. I’m absolutely LOVING it. I have a night time one (no spf) and a day time one (spf 15.. not very high, but better than nothing lol). And I’m still amazed that they don’t make me break out lol :) I haven’t tried Retin-A, sorry :( For no other reason than I just haven’t yet lol ;) XO!

  • natalie075 says:

Do you get that from a doctor? I’ve used products with glycolic from Paula’s Choice. I’m thinking of trying Retin-A, have you tried it? Thank you so much for watching!!

  • elusive73 says:

Oh – and CHEERS! lol ;)

I know what you mean.I often wonder what my skin would look like if I’d not taken care of it too lol. I think the biggest difference I’ve made with my skin is once I started using an 8% glycolic. It’s been over a month now and my skin just looks so much healthier.. more vibrant… I’ve ALWAYS cleansed and used moisturizers but this is the best thing I’ve ‘found’ so far (I’m 38, almost 39). I will go up in strength maybe next month too :)

Awww thank you! I’m sure it’s the poor lighting that for some reason… I cannot get figured out! ha ha

I just found your channel and am catching up on your videos. I’m really enjoying them! I am a 49 year old (50 in Sept….sigh) and love everything about skin care. I use the Shiseido Benefiance line and really like it. I’ve also purchased a lot of face masks from the recommendation of Uppiesbeads59. It’s nice to see beautiful women in my age group posting videos on YouTube. Keep up the good work!!

Funny you should say that. When I had my facial this week, I asked her what is it that people don’t do enough at home . She said exfoliate and using sunscreen! I don’t use retin-A right now, but I’m planning to start! Thank you for watching!

  • WestofWestern says:

I’m 57 yo and I’ve had that experience of not recognizing my face in the mirror. My friends have also had the same experience. Our skin tone has changed and the make up we used to use no longer looks the same on us. Because I had terrible acne going thru puberty, I’ve always been kind of scrupulous about skin care. I’ve been using Cetaphil for over 20 years. I use my Clarisonic in the AM and Cetaphil followed by retin-A at night. Exfoliation is very important.

I could not have said it better! Thank you for watching!!

I never applied a cream or knew of skincare(mostly due to ignorance) till 2yrs ago when i turned 45.I honestly thought, all that fuss over skin is not for me.Well in the past 2 yrs i have noticed a huge difference. Now its not as if i spend hundreds of dollars on lotions and potions, but just from cleaning cleansing, moisturizing AND using my clarisonic daily,i have noticed my pores have shrunk, there are less blackheads around my nose and my overall skin complexion has changed. Its Never to late!

  • natalie075 says:

My facial appt (bday gift from mom) is tomorrow, I’m going to ask her about this and Retin-A. Thanks for the information!!!

  • LydiaSfacefun says:

I had a very dark sun damage spot or an age spot forming on my cheek bone….since using a glycolic acid cream (I use reversa, a Canadian brand) it has almost completely gone away!! It is also the only thing that keeps my skin moisturized, otherwise I get dry scaly red patches :( I am 40…but ALWAYS get told I look 25ish. I truly think it’s the glycolic! Love your videos Natalie! XO

Good idea, now I just have to find someone at the company that can tell me!! ha ha Maybe I will call the President, he seems to be the only one that might know.

just a thought–you could call fashion 220 and ask to be their rep. on you tube. I am really interested in the fashion 220 gel moist. I think you could do a video just on that product. The website does not list ingredients and i wonder what they are because my skin is sensitive to silicone, other cones, etc. (i get acne from “cones”) I love finding products that are great and not that expensive. Please do a video more in depth on that product. thanks. keep up the good work.
